Over 150 companies from various fields participated and recruited students, according to the VIIT Pune placement report 2019-20. A total of 150 businesses took part, employing 295 students. The students were offered an average of Rs 6,76,000.
VIIT Pune placement cell began its 2022 placement drive, which has already attracted 82 recruiters. So far, 421 placement offers and 60 pre-placement offers have been received. FINLQ offered the highest CTC during the ongoing placement drive, up to Rs 15 lakh per annum. Students were offered an average CTC of Rs 4.7 lakh per annum. VIIT Pune B.Tech Computer Engineering programme aims to attain a 100% placement percentage. Over 76 companies offered packages of more than Rs 6 lakh per annum.

The VIIT Pune infrastructure is tailored to the demands of the students. The institute's facilities are contemporary and up to date. Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology facilities include a central library with a sufficient amount of books and periodicals, an auditorium, a canteen with a variety of food outlets, wifi, and numerous more amenities.
The VIIT Pune hostel provides dormitory accommodations for out-of-town students. The college includes separate dormitories for male and female students. The VIIT Pune hostel facilities include nice and clean rooms as well as all necessary utilities. There are also individual labs for each department. The Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology laboratories contains all of the necessary equipment for students. Students can use the VIIT Pune sports facilities to take a break from academics and renew their brains.
Hostel
VIIT Pune includes one boys hostel and two girls hostels exclusively for female students. The institute includes separate dorms for UG and PG students. Nest Hostel houses undergraduate students, whereas Samarth Hostel houses postgraduate students.
Library
The VIIT Pune central library has an outstanding selection of current textbooks, reference books, handbooks, journals, periodicals, proceedings CDs, and other materials. The library has a reference section, a journal section, a reading hall, a digital library section, a multimedia facility, and a stack room, among other things. Book availability searches in the library are fully computerised and can be performed from any LAN-connected PC on campus. All library books and other materials adhere to AICTE guidelines.

VIIT Pune playground is utilised for a variety of activities such as cricket, football, and athletics. Annual sports activities are held on campus for students.
